The Trainee Resident Liaison Officer role provides an excellent opportunity to develop customer service skills within the construction industry. The training will equip the trainee with the necessary knowledge and experience needed to become a successful Resident Liaison Officer.

  • Act as a point of contact for residents regarding project-related matters.
  • Assist in the communication of project timelines, schedules, and any potential disruptions to residents.
  • Assist in keeping residents informed about the progress of a project and addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Assist in conducting regular visits to residents’ homes to provide updates and address any issues.
  • Learn and develop strong customer service skills, including empathy, active listening, and problem-solving.
  • Maintaining a professional and courteous approach in all interactions with residents.
  • Ensure a positive experience for residents throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in booking appointments, managing schedules, and coordinating interactions to reduce disruption for residents and local businesses.
  • Assist in the maintenance of records of resident interactions, complaints, and resolutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on resident feedback and project progress.
  • Respond to and resolve resident complaints, queries, and concerns effectively.
  • Working with residents and the project team and their mentor to find solutions to problems.
  • Working closely with the site management team to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
  • Liaising with other stakeholders, such as contractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
  • Attending project meetings and providing resident-related updates.
  • Full day-to-day training will be provided by the employer.
  • This apprenticeship qualification is called Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner
  • The learning will be delivered by dedicated, industry-specialist tutors via remote sessions.
  • These session take place once per month, for roughly 2 hours, at a time convenient for both you and the employer.

Qualifications

Essential: Grades A*-C/9-4 in GCSE maths and English (or equivalent).
