Apprentice Team Ltd have officially helped 1,000+ participants start their placements across England, Scotland and Wales as part of the Kickstart Scheme. We first commenced the recruitment for kickstart vacancies in May 2021 within sectors such as Retail, Customer Service, HR, Warehousing, Administration and many more and just under a year later, we have reached this huge milestone.
This isn’t just a huge milestone for us; it is also a huge milestone for the individuals we have helped secure employment after the rollercoaster of a few years we have had. The COVID-19 pandemic caused a lot of people, especially young people, across the country to become unemployed but as part of the ‘Plans for Jobs’, the Kickstart Scheme has helped over 100,000 participants secure employment across the country.

As we are now coming to the end of the Kickstart Scheme, we are seeing participants complete their placement, progress onto employment with the majority of them completing an apprenticeship qualification alongside their new role. Our main aim for the Kickstart Scheme was to see participants progress not only with experience, but with qualifications and knowledge as well.
DWP, including our National Kickstart Accounts Managers, have been so helpful in assisting us to refer participants for these fantastic roles. A lot of young people will benefit greatly from this scheme.
