The role involves supporting a business with various accounting duties, from general accounts administration to specialised accounting processes.

Responsibilities & Tasks
- Bookkeeping, payroll, accounts preparation; corporate and personal tax return completion, company secretarial work.
- The successful candidate will learn to use our award winning Financial Management Systems and software, quality controls and automated processes; financial performance analysis and reporting.
- Training will also be provided on Sage, Quickbooks and Xero accounting packages.
- At then end of a successful apprenticeship the candidate may be offered a role as semi senior accountant with planned early progress to senior accountant
Apprenticeship Programme & Training
- Full day-to-day training will be provided by the employer.
- This apprenticeship qualification is called Level 2 Accounts / Finance Assistant
- The learning will be delivered by dedicated, industry-specialist tutors via remote or face-to-face sessions. The only exception are any speaking and listening assessments – these may be delivered in a classroom.
- These session take place once per month, for roughly 2 hours, at a time convenient for both you and the employer.
- You will also complete a Vendor or Professional Qualification alongside the apprenticeship, which is AAT Level 2 in Accounting.
