About UK Asbestos Training Association – UKATA

They are committed to promoting excellence in asbestos training through the development and implementation of high-quality training standards, the provision of best practice guidance, and the promotion of safe and responsible working practices within the asbestos industry.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Day to day running of a marketing case load, including all aspects of the marketing processes, social media, marketing & brand protection
- Perform general office duties, such as maintaining records, database and management systems, performing basic administrative tasks as required
- Assist with the organisation of events and coordinating speaker requests at exhibitions;
- Assist with brand promotion and general awareness of the Associations mission statement;
- Actively promote Professional Membership and Industry/Corporate Associates; and seek to increase membership levels by assisting with sales strategies;
- Designated point of contact for incoming calls on marketing and brand compliance as advised by the Events & Marketing Manager (ensuring that all calls are recorded on quickbase);
- Manage customer enquiries generated from the website.
- Supporting the Events & Marketing Manager in day to day marketing activities;
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ongoing marketing communications activities;

Apprenticeship Programme & Training
- Full day-to-day training will be provided by the employer.
- This apprenticeship qualification is called Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer.
- If you do not have grades A-C/9-4 in GCSE maths and English, you will be required to complete Level 2 Functional Skills maths and English.
- The learning will be delivered by dedicated, industry-specialist tutors via remote or face-to-face sessions. The only exception are any speaking and listening assessments – these may be delivered in a classroom.
- These session take place once per month, for roughly 2 hours, at a time convenient for both you and the employer.
