Annual Wage

£15,000 – £18,000

Possibility of wage increases throughout the apprenticeship

You will work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm

About Nazareth Care

Nazareth Care Charitable Trust is the management company responsible for the operation and regulation of all Nazareth Houses and Nurseries within the United Kingdom. They work closely with the Sisters of Nazareth to ensure the highest quality care for all their residents and children.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Entry of supplier invoices onto Cold Harbour.
  • Checking supplier invoices entered by homes for correct coding and entry.
  • Supplier reconciliations.
  • Preparation of supplier payment runs.
  • Preparation and review of aged creditors report.
  • Maintenance of prepayment schedule.
  • Monthly accruals.
  • Maintenance of fixed asset schedules.
  • Deals with queries from home administrators and suppliers.
  • Minute taking.
  • Spreadsheet production and preparing documents on Word.
  • Other ad hoc tasks when required.

Apprenticeship Programme & Training

  • Full day-to-day training will be provided by the employer.
  • This apprenticeship qualification is called Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant.
  • If you do not have grades A-C/9-4 in GCSE maths and English, you will be required to complete Level 1 Functional Skills maths and English.
  • The learning will be delivered by dedicated, industry-specialist tutors via remote or face-to-face sessions. The only exception are any speaking and listening assessments – these may be delivered in a classroom.
  • These session take place once per month, for roughly 2 hours, at a time convenient for both you and the employer.
  • You will also complete the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting alongside your apprenticeship.
  • You can expect to gain further employment in the business, or progress onto a higher-level apprenticeship, upon completing your programme.
