Apprenticeship Recruitment
If needed, Apprentice Team Ltd offer a free, complementary recruitment service designed to make the process simple and straightforward:
- Our dedicated recruitment team will work with you through the recruitment process. This will ensure you recruit an apprentice right for the job role and business.
- After taking details of the vacancy and job description, we will search and screen candidates for you.
- We will advertise the apprenticeship on the Digital Apprenticeship Service system. This is the official government service for posting and managing apprenticeship vacancies in England.
- We will then select suitable candidates for interview, and agree dates, times and locations that are convenient for you.
The Facts:
- The National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is currently £7.55 per hour (from 1st April 2025) as well as those aged 19+ in the first year of the apprenticeship.
- If you do not pay the apprenticeship levy tax, the government will fully fund the apprenticeship training and assessment costs for apprentices aged 16-21. Your business will contribute 5% towards the cost of the training for all apprentices aged 22 or over.Â
- If you recruit an apprentice aged 16-18, you could also benefit from an incentive of up to £1000.
