Compton Care provides high quality, accessible care and support for people living with life limiting conditions. For over 40 years, they have been providing specialist palliative and end of life care to patients, and support for their families, helping them to navigate every aspect of life with a life limiting condition.

  • Support with recruitment administration such as advertising vacancies for paid and unpaid roles in line with
    organisational recruitment procedures.
  • Support the processing of pre-employment checks including requesting references, checking right to work documents
    and DBS ID documents.
  • Assist in the preparation and issue of offer letters and welcome emails to new starters.
  • Support with the creation and issuing of contractual change letters & contracts of employment from templates
  • Record and update employee information in the HR system.
  • Ongoing maintenance of personnel records and files.
  • Work with the HR Advisor to undertake regular HR audits to ensure the HR system is always accurate.
  • Establish good working relationships with people managers across the organisation and actively promote the HR
    function.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times regarding organisational and employee information and adhere to
    data protection legislation.
  • Answer the telephone and deal with queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor and respond to email enquiries from the central HR and Volunteer inboxes, escalating matters where required.
  • Assist with any other related administration tasks relating to HR projects as required.
  • Supporting the wider HR Team when required.
  • Participate in project work as required
  • Willing to undertaken minutes at meetings including individual and group minutes.
  • Full day-to-day training will be provided by the employer.
  • This apprenticeship qualification is called Level 3 HR Support.
  • If you do not have grades A-C/9-4 in GCSE maths and English, you will be required to complete Level 2 Functional Skills maths and English.
  • The learning will be delivered by dedicated, industry-specialist tutors via remote or face-to-face sessions. The only exception are any speaking and listening assessments – these may be delivered in a classroom.
  • These session take place once per month, for roughly 2 hours, at a time convenient for both you and the employer.
  • You can expect to be eligible for HR & Compliance posts, or for a higher-level apprenticeship upon completing this apprenticeship.

Qualifications

Essential: Grades A*-C/9-4 in GCSE maths and English (or equivalent).
